Writing Articles - And a Two Word Campaign Killer

Written by Nick Jakotic
Saturday, 14 June 2006

You could be TWO (2) Words Away From Making A Fortune On The Internet Or Receiving A Huge Kick In Your Backside By The Search Engine Giants

That`s right, just TWO (2) words, that could literally make or break you in the profitable "content publishing" world.

Those 2 words "Duplicate Content".

Some may say that it`s too hard to write an original article.

To many, short means simple, correct? No true! Some writers will tell you that it is much more difficult to write short content compared to much wordier, long content articles. In the short content format, every word must make a strong impact. This compact writing will create better search and traffic results.

A well-written article is approved faster by most PR & Article release service providers. Plus, articles written with purpose have better CTR (click through rates) and better responsive visitors.
Similarly as with the example of Google AdWords, how astonishing just 3 lines of about 70 characters have such power to attract visitors!

For some engineering an effective article isn't going to happen overnight, so below are some items worth considering:

1. Use an inverted triangle method of writing to brainstorm copy. Start with what you most want your visitors/reader to grasp. Putting that into your content is what holds meaning for your target audience.

2. Write in a language that is understood by them.

3. Use power words, benefit or attention-grabber. Start with two columns. In the first column, list a feature. Then, in the next column, list a benefit of the feature.

4. ONLY State TRUE claims. These claims can be showstoppers but leave out the word "free" if a condition is involved.

5. If it`s a product driven article, Don't dance around what your customers want. The power of the Internet allows your customers to look for you and they want something specific. Announce loud and clear that you're there by using a headline that's precise.

6. Use a dynamic headline.

7. Boast what makes you stand out or unique. Can you offer something for a percentage less or better than competitors?, benefits of your product, why someone would be better off with your product over some other product of the same or similar type. Without, "bad mouthing" or "flaming" the competition.

8. If you`re out to get sales, and want to get rid of freebie seekers, one method of doing this is by putting the deals or discount at the end of your article.

9. Energy, Emotion and response come from words of power and call to action. You should use only words and statements that match your product or service. Sample power words include discover, these, and enhance.

Tight writing comes from finding out what you want your customer to do with the information you give them. Not only will your CTR (click through rate) improve but also your self monitored conversion ratio should improve when you make an Article or Press Release work in your favor.

Greetings and Welcome

Here are some of the many benefits of using the MOM - Article Portal:

Here at the Article Portal, you're not only provided with a central location for submitting and promoting all of your articles, you also have the key to a powerful resource for website owners and newsletter &/or ezine publishers who are searching for excellent content to share with others.

When you set up your MOM Article account, you can immediately begin submitting your articles. Writing and submitting articles is an extremely powerful way to promote your websites, products, and/or services. Here are just a few of the benefits you'll receive by submitting articles to the Portal:

  • Skyrocket the incoming links pointing to your website - Search engines love links. They use links as a gauge for determining how "important" your website is. Search engines view each link pointing to your site as a "vote" and the more votes your website receives, the higher the rankings.

  • Dramatically boost your website traffic, sales, and newsletter optins - When you submit articles to the Portal, your articles are picked up by other sites, featured in newsletters, and sent out in ezines. This will or atleast has the potential to create additional traffic and result in more exposure.

  • Gain "expert" status and become recognized as an authority in your field - By publishing information packed articles, you'll soon enjoy the status of being seen as an authority on your topic. It is quite a well documented that this can lead to joint ventures and many other exciting opportunities that you may never have enjoyed otherwise! Many of the “Guru`s” mention this in the packages they sell.

  • Enjoy 100% free, targeted traffic for years to come - Once you submit your articles and others begin using them, you'll enjoy an increase of free traffic that will come rolling in and it won't cost you a dime. You'll never have to rely on search engines for this free traffic and you`ld probably find it difficult to stop it, if you tried or wanted to.

If you are a website owner or a newsletter/ezine publisher, the MastersOfMarketing.vze.comArticle Portal, provides you with a dynamic resource of relevant, on topic content that you can use free of charge. Just grab the articles you want to use, leave them in their original state complete with the resource box providing credit to the author, and use as you wish.

The MOM`s Article Portal has many different categories for content. Here are some ideas for using the content in our directory to benefit you:

  • Use the articles in our directory on your website to provide your visitors with more useful content and keep them coming back for more.
